Parochial Applications

Fees payable are detailed in the current Parochial Fees schedule (see link for full details).

Private Applications are those relating to

• Reservation of a grave space
• Provision of a memorial

The fee payable is £362.40 (2026).  A cheque made payable to Gabbs Solicitors or a BACS payment with the reference Registry and client name, if preferred. 

Marriage Licences

• Special Licence fee of £325.00 is payable.
• Common Licence fee of £200.00 is payable. A cheque made payable to Gabbs Solicitors or a BACS payment with the reference Registry and client name. (This includes the £52.00 fee for swearing the affidavit in front of a Surrogate).
